Leader of African football, Ahmad Ahmad has congratulated Kurt E.S. Okraku on his election as President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) and assured him of total support in realizing his vision for the sport in the West African nation.
The Ghana football chief, who is in Egypt to support the Black Meteors towards their mission of ending Ghana’s fifteen-year Olympic football hiatus, took the opportunity to call on President Ahmad at the headquarters of the Confederation of African Football (Caf) in Cairo Tuesday.
At the meeting, the Caf boss expressed his personal support as well as the support of the continent’s football governing body to Mr Okraku towards achieving his vision of igniting passion and creating wealth for all in Ghana football.
Ahmad, who has a very good relationship with the GFA, also commended the country for a successful election leading to the emergence of President Okraku.
The GFA President thanked President Ahmad for the warm welcome and also expressed his sincere gratitude for his assurance of support.
