Spanish LaLiga side Celta Vigo are scheduled to unveil their new Ghanaian signing Joseph Aidoo Friday evening.
The official presentation of the 23-year-old centre-back to the club’s fans and media is set for Balaídos at 17:00 GMT.
Aidoo has been acquired on a reported €5m transfer fee which could rise by €3m more in bonuses from Belgian champions KRC Genk.
He signed a five-year deal after passing a mandatory medical on Thursday.
The former Inter Allies captain was a member of the Black Stars squad at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt where he made one appearance. He started and completed Ghana’s 2-0 victory over Guinea-Bissau.
Joseph Aidoo, who is known for his great physical power and passing ability, is the third summer signing of Celta Vigo ahead of the 2019/20 season after midfielder Denis Suárez (FC Barcelona) and Uruguayan forward Gabriel Fernández (Peñarol).
