Normalization Special Cup Tier-One finalists, Karela United are set to open transfer negotiations with Dreams FC over star striker Diawisie Taylor.
This was revealed by the club’s Communications Director Eric Alagidede in an interview with Ultimate 106.9 FM in Kumasi
He revealed that contrary to media reports of Interest from Kotoko and AshantiGold over the said player, only Dreams FC have put in an official bid for the Player.
“I can tell you for a fact Kotoko and AshantiGold have not officially expressed any interest in the player. Only Dreams FC have officially expressed an interest in Diawisie Taylor and we will begin negotiations with them immediately. If they meet our demands and if the player wants to join them, we will go ahead with the business,” Alagidede stated Monday.
Diawisie Taylor has been the star man in the ongoing Special Cup competition, leading his young club into the finals by netting ten (10) goals including the match winner against AshantiGold in Sunday’s semifinal clash in Obuasi.
Diawisie leads the goals king chart in the Tier-One competition.
Karela United are only in their second year in the top Division of Ghana football. They play Asante Kotoko in the final of the Tier-One competition for a spot in the 2019/20 Caf Champions League.
