Liberty Professionals emerged the big winners, beating Ebusua Dwarfs 4-0 on match-day two of the Ghana FA Normalization Special Cup Wednesday.
A Kwadwo Addai own goal set the tone for Liberty with Emmanuel Addo scoring twice before Benjamin Eshun completed the rout late in the game at Carl Reindorf Park.
At Dormaa, Aduana Stars bagged their first three points after a 2-1 win over Techiman XI Wonders. Skipper Yahaya Mohammed and Abdul Rahman Fataw put the Fire Club in a comfortable 2-0 lead before Alex Asamoah came off the bench to reduce the deficit late in the game.
Felix Addo once again proved the nemesis for Hearts of Oak as Elmina Sharks left it late to snatch a 1-0 victory at the Nduom Stadium.
Inter Allies rallied back to salvage a point on the road against WAFA SC. The Academy Boys found the breakthrough ten minutes into second half with a fine strike from the boot of attacker Kingsford Opoku. Inter Allies responded quickly and got a deserved equalizer when Nigerian attacker Effiong Nsungusi Jnr. turned up at the end of a delightful cross from Paul Abanga to hit home right on the hour mark.
Dreams FC failed to pick all three points as they were held to a 1-1 stalemate by visiting Karela United at the Theatre of Dreams. Having suffered a 1-0 defeat against Hearts last weekend, Dreams FC started the game as wounded lions, scoring first through Samuel Alarbi. However, Diawise Taylor pulled parity for the visitors few minutes after recess.
Also Bechem United and AshantiGold played out a goalless stalemate at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park.
Thursday will see Medeama and Asante Kotoko complete the match-day 2 round of games when they clash at the T&A Park.
