Accra Hearts of Oak have announced the appointment of finance expert Frederick N.K Moore as the club’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
He takes over from American Mark Noonan whose surprise resignation was approved by the club’s Board Thursday evening.
Noonan only marked a year on the Phobians’ job March 1. He had travelled back to his country early February but failed to return until communicating his resignation decision to the club’s Board Chairman earlier this week, according to sources.
Hearts in an official statement Thursday night said Noonan exercised an option in his employee contract due to personal family reasons and frustrations over the suspension of competitive football in Ghana or almost a year.
