Ghana’s WBO super bantamweight champion Isaac Dogboe’s second title defense has been confirmed for the 8th of December at the Madison Square Garden (MSG) in New York, his father and trainer, Paul, told Agoo TV.
Dogboe (20-0, 14 KO) has had a remarkable 2018, handing three opponents – Cesar Juarez, Jessie Magdaleno and Hidenori Otake – their first stoppage defeats and will look to cap the year remaining the 122-pound world champion.

“Isaac is fighting on the 8th of December at the Madison Square Garden; it’s going to be big.
“It is an undercard of the Vasyl Lomachenko-Jose Pedraza bout,” Paul Dogboe said in an appearance on Dwidwamu Sports.
The opponent? “I don’t know who yet but like I said, Rey Vargas is the key target but if they won’t fight us, he [Isaac Dogboe] still has to defend his title again,” he added.
The “Royal Storm” – who is currently preparing for a SAT exams in the UK to pave way for his university education- is expected in Ghana for the first time since defeating Otake on October 8.
