Black Princesses coach Yusif Basigi has indicated there will be changes to his tactics and next starting line-up after Ghana suffered a 4-1 defeat to France in their U-20 Women’s World Cup opener on Sunday.
The Princesses displayed serious defensive lapses as some players were played out of positions due to knocks suffered during their preparations towards the tournament.
“Those supposed to play that role, some are on injury list. Normally, we have utility players who can also occupy that position. That was why I had to play those players at that position.
“…Now we are going to the drawing board to correct our mistakes. Definitely we would do some changes in other make our second game effective,” Basigi said.
Ghana next face debutants Netherlands who recorded a 2-1 victory over New Zealand. The game is scheduled for Wednesday, August 8.
