New Asante Kotoko CEO, George Amoako says his immediate target is to make the Porcupine Warriors a winsome team.
The 23-time Ghanaian champions are gradually losing touch of greatness on the domestic scene due to recent decline in their performance.
Kotoko have not won a Ghana Premier League title since 2014 and continue to struggle in the league it was once dominating.
And Mr. Amoako, who has been appointed to lead Kotoko’s new management team has promised to make the club lucrative once again.
“Asante Kotoko like all great football clubs with such a large following should play good football and be winning. If you don’t play good football and win your games, then supporters will not be behind you.
“So our first step is to ensure that we have a winsome side, play good football and win and draw the supporters to the stadium. All other things will follow,” he told Starr Sports.
