Ghanaian champions Aduana Stars have decided do away with the services of head coach Yusif Abubakar.
The club communicate the decision to the coach after he supervised Tuesday’s training session.
According to sources at the Dormaa-based side, coach Abubakar was given the sack following an express directive from bankroller Nana Agyeman Badu II.
“Yes, we’ve parted ways. We concluded everything in the night so I’m waiting for other things to be settled so I can leave [Dormaa],” coach Abubakar confirmed.
The former All Blacks and Heart of Lions gaffer refused to reveal the reason or his exit but starrsportsgh.com is informed the club took the decision after receiving hints he had held talks with Harts of Oak.
Caoch Yusif Abubakar is owed some salaries and match bonuses by Aduana. He was weeks away from the end of his contract with the club.
