Experienced goalkeeper Ernest Sowah has officially joined Accra Hearts of Oak in a free agent deal.
The 30-year-old favoured the offer from the Phobians after considering others from league leaders AshantiGold and Aduana Stars.
Sowah put pen to paper on his Hearts of Oak contract at the club’s secretariat Wednesday morning.
“We are happy to welcome Ernest Sowah into the Hearts family,” Goalkeeper’s trainer Jerry Agyei told phobians.com.
“He’s an experienced goalkeeper and we believe he will help bolster our goalkeeping department.”
Starrsportsgh.com can confirm that Sowah signed a two-and-half-year contract with the Phobians.
Ernest Sowah is expected to command starting place ahead of Ben Mensah, Richard Baidoo and Sylvanus Gbeti who are already in the team.
