Reports in Italy back those in France stating that Juventus captain Gianluigi Buffon has been offered a contract by Paris Saint-Germain.
The veteran confirmed today that he’ll leave the Bianconeri after 17 years, but pointedly didn’t say that he’s retiring.
Le Parisien revealed that he had been offered a two-year deal by PSG, and now Sky Italia is backing that up.
Atletico Madrid and Liverpool are not said to have made concrete offers, but Buffon is very tempted by the offer from France.
PSG want to add his experience and leadership to the team, while the 40-year-old wants to continue playing at the highest level.
Buffon hasn’t made a decision yet, but it’s believed that he does want to continue his playing career.
