A game – Berekum Chelsea vs Liberty had to be rained off in Kumasi Sunday night while AshantiGold solidified their grip on top of the league.

Hearts of Oak 1-1 Bechem Utd
An injury-time goal from Patrick Razak earned Hearts of Oak a 1-1 draw with Bechem United in their moved matchday 9 home game of the 2017/18 Ghana Premier League at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Sunday.
Hafiz Konkoni had put Bechem in an early lead – in the 5th minute after capitalizing on a howler by goalkeeper Theophilus Jackson. But first half substitute Razak ensured he stopped the Phobians from recording defeat for the third straight game. With a point gained, Hearts now place 10th while Bechem occupy 7th position.
Wa All Stars 0-2 Asante Kotoko
At the Malik Jabir Park, Asante Kotoko, who next host the Phobians, notched full points thanks to goals from captain Amos Frimpong and Frederick Boateng in the 44th and 89th minutes respectively. The Porcupine Warriors move back to 4th on the league log with 14 points.
Karela Utd 0-0 Elmina Sharks
Karela United dropped points on matchday nine after three straight wins. They were held to a pulsating goalless draw by Elmina Sharks at home, the Crosby Awah Memorial Park.
Ebusua Dwarfs 2-3 WAFA SC
WAFA SC made a winning start to life without coach Klavs Rasmussen by beating Ebusua Dwarfs 3-2 away at Cape Coast Stadium.
As at the hour mark, it all looked perfect for the Academy Boys. They had gone 3-0 up but Ebusua Dwarfs fought back strongly to overturn the tide. The hosts however managed to get only two goals back via Solomon Okudzeto and Osman Mohammed. With a first win in five games, WAFA are now 9th on the log while Dwarfs sit just above the drop zone after nine games.
Eleven Wonders 1-0 Medeama SC
A 14th minute strike by Alex Asamoah earned Techiman City a solitary goal win over Medeama SC at the Nana Ameyaw Park.
Berekum Chelsea vs Liberty – RAINED OFF
The fixture had to be called off due to heavy rains at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium Sunday evening. At 0-0, the game had been played for only 43 minutes when referee Amofa Sarkodie was forced to bring it to a halt. Both teams will start on a clean slate at the same venue on Monday afternoon.
AshantiGold 1-0 Inter Allies
On Saturday, league leaders AshantiGold piped Inter Allies 1-0 at the Len Clay Stadium in Obuasi. Left-back Roland Amouzou socred for the Miners in the 14th minute.
Dreams FC vs Aduana Stars
Impressive Dreams FC are scheduled to welcome defending champions Aduana Stars at the Dawu Park on Monday.
