The Ghana senior men’s football team, Black Stars have two games lined up with 2018 Fifa World Cup-bound teams Japan and Iceland.
Coach Kwasi Appiah’s men will first travel to Asia where they come up against the Samurai Blue of Japan on May 30.
The game which will serve as a pre-World Cup send-off for Japan has been slated for the Nissan Stadium in Yokohama.
Ghana will also face Iceland, the smallest country to qualify for the World Cup, at Laugardalsvellir on Thursday June 7.
The Ghana Football Association is yet to give an official communication on these games but both Japan and Iceland have already made the announcements.
Ghana failed to qualify for the 2018 World Cup. They intend to use these international friendlies to better their Fifa rankings, George Afriyie, vice President of the Football Association is on record to have said.
