Ghanaian Premier League giants Accra Hearts of Oak have unveiled their new signings for the 2017/18 season.
At a ceremony held at the World Trade Center in Accra Wednesday afternoon, 11 new recruits and defender Fatawu Mohammed who signed a new contract after the expiration of his last deal, were presented the media and fans.
The new signings include three foreigners – Camara Nguessan (Midfielder, Ivory Coast), Radji Okemba (wing-back, Congo) and Aboubacar Traore (striker, Burkina Faso).
Christopher Bonney and Joseph Esso joined the Phobians from Ebusua Dwarfs while Evans Quao also completed a free agent move from arch-rivals Asante Kotoko.
Centre-back Benjamin Agyare was recruited from Division One side Heart of Lions with Selasi Bali Blessing (striker) and Richard Badu promoted from the club’s junior team, Auroras.
Completing the new faces are Benjamin Afutu (midfielder, Karela Utd) and former WAFA SC goalkeeper Theophilus Jackson.
New Hearts of Oak Chief Executive Officer Mark Noonan was also officially unveiled. The American assumed office March 1.
