Ghana will, Friday afternoon, take on Djibouti in the first leg of the final qualifying round to the Fifa U-17 Women’s World Cup, Uruguay 2018.
The Black Maidens, who play away first, will face Djibouti at the El Hadj Hassan Gouled Aptidon Stadium at 1pm.
After leaving Accra for Djibouti through a transit in Ethiopia last Tuesday, Coach Evans Adotey’s girls had a feel of the pitch at the match venue in their final preparations on Thursday.
Ghana beat Gambia 7-1 aggregate before making it to the final round of the World Cup qualifiers.
The junior female national team is aiming to emulate the Black Princesses who beat Cameroon to qualify for this year’s FIFA U-20 World Cup.
Ghana will host the return leg at the Cape Coast Stadium on February 18.
