The GFA has announced the postponement of the opening day fixtures of the 2017/18 Ghana Premier League.
This was contained in a communique signed by Deputy General Secretary Ismail Amin Gado to Premier League clubs Wednesday afternoon.
After an initial false start, the league got launched Monday night with games expected to kick-start this weekend but it is not coming off as planned.
Accra Great Olympics, whose court action caused the initial delay, have filed for an injunction pending appeal preventing the start of the new season.
Per Wednesday’s announcement, the Ghana FA is hoping the new court case could be cleared before the date for matchday two games on the season’s calendar.
