Premier League Board (PLB) Chairman Ashford Tetteh Oku has revealed that the 2017/18 Ghana Premier League will kick-start by the end of January next year.
The commencement of the Ghana Premier League, will however be preceded by the season-opening Super Cup between winners of the league and FA Cup champions.
League champions Aduana Stars will thus face MTN FA Cup winners, Asante Kotoko to determine the “champion of champions”.
Tetteh Oku believes all things being equal the league will kick start on their proposed date.
“After Tamale FA Congress, if our submitted draft is considered then latest by January ending we will start,” he told Starr Sports.
Meanwhile, registration for the first transfer window of the season will open from November 29th 2017 to February 28, 2018.
