Ghana Premier League side Medeama SC have announced the exit of coach Evans Adotey.
Adotey who had been serving as technical director cum head coach last week announced his resolve to relinquish the latter in order to focus on the national job as Black Maidens coach.
“I’ve said I’m not coaching the team [Medeama] again. That’s what I’ve informed them. If there’s any other role to play aside that, I’m all for it.
“I can’t combine the two – national team [Black Maidens] and club side.
“Already, I’m a technical director there and had to step in because there was no head coach. If they want to retain me, cool but they have to get a coach,” Adotey who spent four years at Medeama explained.
Fast forward Wednesday, the club has confirmed parting ways via their official twitter handle:
