Ghana Premier league returnees, Dreams FC have recalled Coach C.K Akonnor from AshantiGold.
Dreams FC lent the coach to the Miners who were struggling to stay afloat the Ghana Premier League last season.
After helping his former club to avoid relegation, Dreams have asked Akonnor to revert to his post as they begin preparations for the 2017/18 campaign.
According to the Executive Chairman of Dreams, Kurt Okraku, AshantiGold has expressed interest in keeping Akonnor but the management of the Kweiman-based team want their man back.
“Akonnor is already back to Dreams and after his European attachment he joins the team for pre-season so expect CK soon”, he told Starr Sports.
Akonnor is currently on attachment with English premier league side Tottenham Hotspurs on a knowledge-sharing trip. He is expected in Ghana next week.
The 2017/18 Ghana Premier League is likely to start by the first week of February.
