Ghana’s Black Princesses advanced to the penultinate qualifying round to the 2018 Fifa U-20 World Cup after hammering Algeria 5-0 on Sunday.
Coach Yusif Basigi’s made it to the second round of the qualifiers on a 10-0 aggregate score having defeated their counterparts 5-0 in the first leg match played in Algiers.
Priscilla Adubea and Helena Obeng gave Ghana a two-goal lead in the first 45 minutes.
Philicity Asuako, Vivian Adjei Konadu and Grace Asantewaa then completed tye rout for Ghana in the second half.
Ghana will next face Kenya, who eliminated Ethiopia, in the second round of the qualifiers.
The Black Princesses are chasing their fifth successive World Cup appearance at the Fifa Under-20 Women’s World Cup.
