The Black Starlets held their first training in Abu Dhabi where they have pitched camp for their final preparations towards the U-17 Fifa World Cup.
The Ghana U-17 team checked into the Park Inn by Radisson after arriving in the wee hours of Thursday.
After some good rest, the team moved out to the Mohammed Bin Zayed Sports Stadium located inside the New York University, Abu Dhabi (NYUAD) campus. The facility has been secured for the team throughout their camping days.
All 25 players were involved in the training which was largely a recovery session.
Coach Paa Kwasi Fabin is expecting to test his side with two international friendlies against some of the U-17 World Cup campaigners who are also heading to the UAE for their preparations.
Mali, who beat Ghana in the finals of the Afcon a few months ago, are also currently holding their preparations in Abu Dhabi.
The Under-17 World Cup is slated for October 6-28.
Ghana is in Group A alongside hosts India, Colombia and the USA.
