Paris St-Germain are on the verge of pairing Neymar with teen sensation Kylian Mbappe in another mega money swoop, according to widespread reports.
Mbappe was expected to join Real Madrid this summer after starring for Monaco in their run to the Champions League semi-finals last season.
However, speculation across Europe has indicated that the 18-year-old now wants to join PSG in a £160million deal – just a week after Neymar moved to Paris in a £200m move from Barcelona.
Mbappe is said to prefer PSG over a switch to Madrid or fellow suitors Manchester City after holding talks with manager Unai Emery.
But if PSG are able to complete a move for the forward, it would raise even more question marks over the effectiveness of Uefa’s Financial Fair Play regulations.
In addition to Neymar, PSG have also brought in Brazilian right-back Dani Alves on a big money Bosman deal and splashed out £14.5m to land left-back Yuri Berchiche.
