Ebusua Dwarfs captain Nicholas Gyan has arrived in Tanzania ahead of a move to giants Simba SC.
The striker touched down Dar es Salaam in the early hours of Monday.
The club revealed the player’s arrival via its official Facebook page:
Gyan has bagged eleven goals and made three assists in the 2016/17 Ghana Premier League.
A deal for Gyan swell up the number of Ghanaian players in the Tanzanian League. At rivals Azam FC, they have the likes of Yahaya Mohammed, Yakubu Mohammed, Enock Atta Agyei, Daniel Amoah and Razak Abalora while Yanga SC also have goalkeeper Daniel Agyei in their fold.
Simba FC are bolstering their squad ahead of the upcoming Vodacom Tanzania Premier League as well as their participation in next year’s Caf Confederation Cup.
