Vice Chairman of the MTN FA Cup Committee, Kofi Poku has confirmed that the MTN FA Cup quarterfinal game between Kotoko and NEA Salamina has been postponed to second week in August.
This decision follows the Porcupine Warriors’ request to be excused from honouring their game this Sunday as their players have not psychologically and physically recovered from the accident they encountered after their match-day 22 game against Inter Allies.
Kofi Poku says his outfit has agreed to their request.
“They’ve been excused from this weekend’s games and we’re hoping that in the second week of August, they will play their match.
“We have to look at the date of the PLB and know the exact date we can fix for them,” he told Starrsportsgh.com
Kotoko is also currently having two outstanding Premier League games against Hearts Of Oak and WAFA.
