Accra Hearts of Oak suffered a second defeat on the bounce away to Bechem United on matchday 21 of the Ghana Premier League.
Striker Amed Toure grabbed the only goal of the match from the spot in the 77th minute.
Speaking after the game, head coach Frank Nuttall noted that he was disappointed to lose through a penalty.
“I’m disappointed not to get the three points and also lose through a penalty.
“We had some chances in the game and we will need to rectify some individual mistakes before the next game,” Nuttall said.
Hearts of Oak have slipped to fourth position and have been overtaken by arch-rivals Asante Kotoko who defeated Medeama SC 3-1 in Kumasi.
