Ghana’s Black Starlets repeated last Monday’s dose for the Niger U-17 side in the final leg of their double header test games on Thursday.
Coach Paa Kwesi Fabin’s boys confirmed their superiority over the Mena Cadets with two unanswered goal just like they did on Easter Monday.
This time, it was Patmus Arhin who scored both goals in the 19th and 55th minutes at the Accra Sports Stadium.
After getting to face Tanzania early on and now Niger, Starlets coach Fabin said he is delighted with the progress of his team.
“These are the opportunities that we get to give every player the chance to play for us to see how well prepared they are,” he said.
“We fielded a different set of players on Monday and today too another. Out of these, we are going to pick our best 21 so the games have been very good for us. It has given me another insight about the team and will guide my decision making.”
The Black Starlets are scheduled to leave Accra on May 1 for Kenya for the final lap of preparations for the Nations Cup to be hosted by Gabon. The tournament comes off from May 14-28, 2017.
