Asante Kotoko have terminated their contract with head coach Zdravko Logarusic, starrsportsgh.com can confirm.
The decision was taken after the club’s goalless draw game at home to Ebusua Dwarfs on Sunday.
Logarusic supervised Kotoko in eleven Premier League games, with five wins, four draws and two defeats.
Assistant coach Godwin Ablordey takes interim charge as the search for a new coach begins.
Loga’s days, from January 10 to April 9, 2017 has been characterized with apprehension from the club’s fans over his choice of tactics. A 3-5-2 system preferred by the Croat saw the Porcupine Warriors score more than a goal though the club ground results in the opening seven games.
However, a change in fortunes since match-day 8 where Asante Kotoko has picked two points from four games has resulted into the club’s management allegedly yielding to the massive demands from the fan base to dispense with the Croat’s services.
