Liberty Professionals head coach Ignatius Osei-Fosu says they have found adequate replacement for the departed Latif Blessing.
Blessing, top scorer in the Ghana Premier League last season, left to join Kansas City in the Major League Soccer in the USA.
Liberty are known to produce talents over the years but they appear to have fallen on a veteran player to help their course this season.
According to Osei-Fosu, the signing of Papa Arko will provide adequate cover for the void left by Blessing’s departure.
“We lost Latif Blessing but we have found a replacement in the shape of Papa Arko. And anyone who knows Papa Arko knows his pedigree. He played a good game today and played 90 minutes.
“So we don’t miss Latif Blessing at all and we’ve moved on from him.”
The 32-year-old helped Liberty win promotion to the Premier League before moving on to exploits abroad.
Papa Arko has now rejoined the Dansoman-based side on a short term contract.
