Coach Frimpong Manso has ended his stay at GN Bank Division One League side Karela FC.
The former Ghanaian international who has been with the Takoradi-based second tier side for the past two seasons saw his contract expire two weeks ago and has decided not to pen down a fresh deal with the Western giants.
Confirming his departure to starrsportsgh.com via phone, the former Asante Kotoko darling boy said “I have ended my stay at Karela FC though officials of the club asked for my stay.”
“We started negotiating a fresh deal but unfortunately couldn’t come into an agreement so I had to leave and look elsewhere for a new opportunity to continue my job,” the former B.A United gaffer added.
Frimpong Manso guided Karela FC to a second place finish in Zone Two of the GN Bank Division One League with 57 points, 10 points adrift current Premier League side Elmina Sharks.
