Immediate-past Aduana Stars coach Cioaba Aristica is nowhere close to taking up the reigns at Ghanaian giants Accra Hearts of Oak, that’s according to the spokesperson for the Phobians.
The Romanian tactician had been highly tipped in the media for the vacant head coach position of the Phobians but in an interesting turn, the club has revealed he has never come up for consideration as far as the applications received are concerned.
“It is interesting that we have been consistently linked with Aristica but I can confidently say he is not on our radar. He is not even in our final shortlist of applicants,” Hearts spokesperson Opare Addo said.
Aristica enjoyed a successful second stint with Aduana Stars as he powered the Dormaa-based side who were lowly-placed at the time of his return to a narrow miss in the race for the 2015/16 Ghana Premier League title eventually won by Wa All Stars.
He however opted not to extend his stay with Aduana Stars after the season.
