Togo captain Emmanuel Adebayor has joined high-flying Turkish topflight side İstanbul Başakşehir FK on transfer deadline day.
The 32-year-old striker has been club-less since leaving Crystal Palace last summer and has now signed a contract that runs for 1.5 years with the side in the Turkey capital.
Basaksehir is currently in second place in the Turkish Super Lig, just two points behind leaders Besiktas after 19 games.
Adebayor who has previously featured for Arsenal, Tottenham, Manchester City and Real Madrid is now teammate with Ghana and former Tema Youth player Joseph Larweh Attamah.
